Raising Young Kids Jewishly

Raising little kids Jewishly is no piece of cake anywhere, but it’s particularly tough if you don’t happen to have tons of support, knowledge, experience, or community.
Small, everyday things can make a big difference: a fun craft, a new book, a song, a recipe, a bath toy, a Hebrew word, or just re-naming something you already do: like calling the feeding of the family dog a mitzvah: tza-ar b’aley chayim (taking care of animals).
Kids learn what they live.
JewishEveryday is independent and trans-denominational, meaning we provide sources across all branches of Judaism. We’re sure you can judge what fits your family best.
We are committed to present such a range of options, ideas, choices, products, and opinions, everyone can find something that works.

What’s so Jewish about the pictures above?
Left: PEZ dispenser + Mezuzah = PEZuzah
Center: Mt. Sinai Muffins; Jonah and the Whale (Playmobil hack)
Right: Lego Mezuzah
Above: Well, it’s a giant Menorah hat. That’s pretty Jewish.

Look at the class craft on a wall at a church school because one single kid is Jewish. Gorgeous.
